Blue Jay

Winter is here and that can mean a scarcity of food for the birds. With a little bit of effort and a little knowledge about bird food and feeders, you will be able to attract plenty of birds to your yard. Not only are they fun to watch, but they can be very beneficial to  your garden. Birds consume a lot of insects, insects that are feeding on your garden and you.

If birds associate your yard with food, they will hang around in the spring, summer and fall when your garden is growing and the bugs are multiplying.
